This is my second extra day in Memphis. I could keep adding them, one after another, but I would still feel rushed at the last moment. I would still want just a few more seconds to figure out what to pack for food, how much water to bring, if the next town has a boat ramp close to a store.

I fill the time, I always fill the time.

But there aren’t enough seconds to ever be certain, to clear the field of unknowns. You have to pack-up anyway, you have to pack-up and jump back into the thick of the adventure.

Just go.

You can leave in a moment or in a thousand moments or never. It’s up to you.
